Tinker joined our family in January 2015, and I couldn't be happier with her.  She is a cheerful, outgoing girl who likes everyone she meets.  She recently passed the Canine Good Citizen test and earned the novice trick dog title.  We took an intro to Rally Obedience class and I hope we can compete this fall.

Tinker's sire, Jack, is also the sire of Holly's first litter, which included Montana, Destiny's Showered With Kisses.  I've loved Jack since the first time I saw him at 17 months old.  Tinker's dam, Tigg, is a quality bitch who has been an excellent producer for her owners, Sandy and Richard Rohrbacher.  When Sandy offered me the pick bitch from the breeding, I jumped at the chance.

Tinker has many qualities that I want in a breeding program.  She's "round and spanielly," with good rib spring and correct rib to loin proportion.  She moves with strong reach and drive and is clean coming and going.  She's the epitome of the happy, merry spaniel.

Tinker began her show career in March 2015 in the 4-6 month puppy competition at the New England Sporting Group Association show.  She was best puppy in breed and the crowd favorite in the puppy sporting group due to her antics.

She made her official AKC show debut in June in New York.  At her second show, in July, she won her first point (see home page), and the next day took Best of Breed for two points, defeating adult dogs and bitches, including a champion.

At shows in the fall of 2015 she garnered several winners bitch wins for points, including her first major, and a Best of Breed over specials for a second major.

In February 2016 she took winners bitch for her third major and completed her championship with 16 points.  She still has a lot of fun in the ring, but she's learning how to be a show dog and spends a lot less time standing on her hind legs and biting her lead.

Now we're working on her Grand Championship.  In limiited showing she has 10 of the 25 points, with two majors of three required, and three champions defeated.
